Greetings from Gurney's

A few weeks ago, I ventured out to the Hamptons for the second time this summer. I wasn't planning on going again, but the sweet folks at Kendra Scott invited me to their Montauk pop-up shop and I couldn't resist attending. I was especially happy that the event was held at Gurney's Resort – it's a picturesque location that creates an amazing backdrop for photos. My pal, Joe, was nice enough to drive me out and be my photographer.

Kendra Scott gifted me a gorgeous necklace that you'll see styled below in this post. I paired it with this adorable midi dress and brown sandals to keep the look simple. I have a phobia of midi and maxi dresses (as I've mentioned before in previous posts) so the casual fabric and neutral colors of this one make it low-key enough for me to feel comfortable in.

Hydrangea Deep

One thing I love about New England? Hydrangeas, hydrangeas, hydrangeas everywhere. I don't know if the Hamptons can technically be called part of New England, but they definitely scream New England in their scenery and landscape. During my little day trip out east the other weekend, we stopped in Amagansett, which was bursting with hydrangeas. The town made the perfect backdrop for this casual and comfy outfit that I'm obsessed with.

You guys NEED these pants in your life. I've been looking for a pair of olive green cargo-esque pants for years now and never found any that I thought looked flattering on me. These have the perfect cut and fit so I practically threw my cash at the sales associate. I feel like I've been talking about a new pair of pants I love in every single blog post lately, but I think it's such a special occasion when you find a piece that's perfect for both work and play.

Holiday In The Hamptons

Is there anything better than a day at the beach with friends? Let me know, but I think the answer is no. I had such a great time galavanting around on the beach during my Memorial Day Weekend Hamptons trip! I've really been reminiscing over the trip lately as it is likely the only real vacation I will have this summer. Since I am interning the entirety of the summer (read more about that here), I can't really take off a big chunk of time for a substantial trip. It's not really a "vacation," but I do plan on going home to Atlanta for 2 weeks after my internship ends.

In other news, I have finally hopped on board the one-piece train with this little, red number from Topshop! The combination of the clout sunglasses and the Baywatch-esque swimsuit inspired some serious vintage poses and edits. While I believe my swimsuit is permanently sold out, I've linked some similar ones for you below!

Meet Me In Montauk

Out of all the vacation towns in eastern Long Island, Montauk is definitely the most "lit," if you will. They have a really great going out scene, plenty of restaurants and gems such as Gurney's Resort (pictured below). Unfortunately, it was cloudy and moderately cold the day I came, but I would have given anything to lay under one of the spacious, beautiful cabanas in sunny weather while sipping a cocktail. If you've ever been to Montauk, let me know your favorite spots! I'll actually be returning in the coming weeks for an event!
