Work OOTD

This is what a typical work outfit looks like for me. For those of you who don't know, I work at Jcrew and the dress code would be considered business casual. I try my best to embody the Jcrew style in all my work outfits so that's why I chose to pair this simple and very versatile striped shirt from Light in the Box with the famous Jcrew linen mini that everyone and their mother has (it's an amazing piece to have because it goes with absolutely everything, though). Jcrew is known for their vast selection of statement necklaces so I am constantly wearing those to work. I love this one, I think the rope makes it unique and it adds a pop of color to a neutral outfit. For shoes, I am constantly wearing these two toned sandals because I could walk ten miles on them (at work, I'm basically running around the store for hours on end doing various things so comfortable shoes are essential). I always complete a work outfit with a watch because we aren't allowed to have phones while working and I constantly want to know what time it is!

From July 4th-11th, I had the most gloriously relaxing vacation in Perdido Key, Florida. Literally all I did was chill on the beach and by the pool, sleep, spend time with family and go out to dinner a few times. On Wednesday night we went to this nice little restaurant with the most picturesque bay outside (perfect for taking pictures). I decided to debut these adorable shorts that I got at Jcrew during their special employee only 75% off sale items promotion (I got them for only $10! unbelievable, right?) I decided to pair it with this white eyelet peplum top, brown thong sandals and my beautiful Loren Hope bracelet that I got from Rocksbox. If y'all haven't heard me talk about Rocksbox already, it's basically a monthly subscription where you get designer jewelry sent to you on loan and delivered to your doorstep! It's $19 a month, but each set you receive is worth around $150-$200 usually. And better yet, if you use my code "kmcreyxoxo," you get your whole first month free (no strings attached, you can cancel after the month if you decide you don't want to continue your subcription)!
