Sweater: c/o SheIn | Vest: Light In the Box (similar) | Skirt: H&M (similar) | Tights: Local Boutique (similar) | Shoes: Steve Madden (similar) | Watch: Daniel Wellington

Praise the lord, I am finally done with finals and traveling for the holidays! For the next month I will be at home, hopefully getting a lot of relaxing and blogging done to recharge for studying abroad in Rome next semester! I'm really going to enjoy evading the frigid weather that New York usually experiences in January, February and March. It's also very warm at home in Atlanta right now so I am very happy about that. I recently received this super adorable lace up sweater from the online brand, SheIn and I'm absolutely in love! If you are on a budget and want super trendy, cute clothes, SheIn is THE site for you. For the price ($25), the sweater is super great quality and doesn't look cheap. I know it can be a bit scary to order from online foreign websites, so if you are interested in this sweater and have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

New Years Shein Wishlist

If you are a gal on a budget and looking for the perfect pieces to wear to a New Years Eve party and into 2017, look no further than SheIn! This company is based in Asia and I know sometimes it is hard to trust companies that sell clothes for very cheap and are based in foreign countries but SheIn is an extremely established e-commerce fashion site so no need to worry! The best part is they have a feature on their website where people can upload photos of them wearing their SheIn clothing so you can see how the item looks on real people before you buy it.

Maple Row Tree Farm

Sweater: Aritzia | Top: Zara | Scarf: Jcrew (similar) | Jeans: Articles of Society (similar) | Boots: Public Desire (similar) | Necklace: Kiel James Patrick | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff (similar)

This has been my second trip to Connecticut in less that two months and I am not ashamed –it's just so beautiful, I can't stay away! While my last visit was very fall themed, this time was all about Christmas. I don't think there is any better christmas activity than going to a christmas tree farm. I went with my buds, Emily, Reed and Peyton and although we didn't get a tree, it was so nice watching all the cute families pick out the perfect tree for their home (P.S. SO many people brought their dogs, too, and it was marvelous).

It's Christmas Time In The City

Sweater: Forever 21 | Leather skirt: H&M (similar) | Tights: Target | Boots: Tory Burch (similar) | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff (similar)

There is just something so enchanting about New York during Christmastime. Maybe because there is 10 times the people and 10 times the extravagance, there's just 10 times the Christmas cheer too. Even though this is my second Christmas in New York, I still hadn't been to Rockefeller Plaza in December to see the Christmas tree/decorations (for any of you that don't know, this area of New York has the most over the top Christmas decorations out of any place in the city). I was really itching to see the tree this year + get in the holiday spirit so I ventured over to the east side of town with my friends, Emma and Steph, last Saturday morning. It ended up being freeeeeeezing so after only a short period of walking around Rock Plaza, we headed up the street to the ever-famous Ralph's Coffee Shop. This coffee shop is located in the Polo Ralph Lauren flagship store and it is probably the cutest, most classic and beautiful coffee shop on the planet. If you are ever in NYC, I definitely urge you to go –no matter what time of the year!

My Favorite Online Boutiques

Sometimes, the best clothes that end up being our favorites come from the small boutique that no one has ever heard of. Don't you just hate it when you buy a cute top at Urban Outfitters then see 5+ people you know wearing the same exact one? When buying from small boutiques, that is rarely a problem that you'll face. Oftentimes, the clothing is a lot more unique too! P.S. buying from boutiques means supporting small businesses which is sooooo important these days!
A few weeks ago, someone asked me on Tumblr what my favorite smaller clothing companies were and it inspired me to make this post. These are my four favorite online boutiques:

Paige Avenue

Clad & Cloth

Roolee

1. Embroidered Tunic
2. Fringe Vest
3. Heather Cardigan

Love Street

Comment YOUR favorite online boutiques, I would love to discover more!

Cozy & Chic

Sweater: Zara (similar) | Plaid Shirt: Urban Outfitters (similar) | Jeans: Articles of Society (similar) | Socks: Jcrew | Coat: Jcrew | Heels: Vince Camuto | Duck Boots: LL Bean

A sweater with a button down shirt underneath is my go-to Fall look. What's great is it can easily be dressed up or dressed down given the right accessories. For a more casual and cozy look, I threw on my Bean Boots (with camp socks underneath for extra warmth). For a chic look, I laced up in my suede Vince Camuto heels. Leave me a comment letting me know what your favorite fall/holiday outfit is!

Thanks Emily for the pictures!

6 Presents To Ask For Or Give For Christmas

I love any type of gift guides but I feel like the best gift suggestions come from the person's own personal experience with the products. That's why today I am sharing with you 6 of my favorite things that I OWN that would make great gifts. So if you are at a loss of what to give to your family/friends for christmas or are looking to beef up your own christmas gift, keep reading!

1. KJP Simply Pearlfect Necklace: When in doubt, give jewelry (if you have an idea of the person's style). This necklace from KJP's new Pearlfection Collection is timeless and makes the perfect gift for the classy girl in your life. Not a fan of gold? Don't worry, this necklace also comes in silver!

2. Lorac Pro Eyeshadow Palette: Already have every single UD Naked palette ever made? Give all of them a run for their money with this eyeshadow palette. It is by far the best one I've ever used (I guess that's evident by how many colors I've hit pan on). It's safe to say that I use 12 of the 16 colors on a regular basis and all you eyeshadow palette users know that's a really good ratio. My favorite part is it is 50/50 on matte and sparkly shadows! Oh, also, you're getting twice the colors of the Naked palette for $8 cheaper.

3. Plaid Scarf (similar Jcrew one) : Like the KJP Pearlfection necklace, a plaid scarf is a timeless classic. It is a winter staple and can be worn so many different ways. The style of this Jcrew one is rather traditional, but if you are more of a trendy gal, here are some options:

4. Gigi New York Crossbody: Pro tip: personalized gifts are THE best. It shows the gift receiver that you went the little extra step to get this gift for them. Gigi New York is one of my favorite handbag companies because they are known for the beautiful and tasteful monogramming they put (optionally) on all their bags. If you like the idea but don't want to spend a couple hundred dollars, here are some smaller/cheaper Gigi New York items that you can monogram that also make perfect gifts!

5. Beats Solo Headphones: Behind my laptop and phone, this is probably the third most used item I own. If you've been listening to your music through iPhone earbuds, you really haven't unlocked the full happiness potential that music can bring to you. They are also great for working out. You could run for hours and these babies won't move.

If you aren't looking to spend that much money, the Beats earbuds are also a great step up from normal earbuds!

6. Voluspa 'Golden Cypress Sawara' Candle: Ok so I just realized that this candle isn't sold anymore which makes me want to cry because it is quite possibly my favorite candle ever. Thankfully, though, there is another candle out there that smells like christmas trees that I absolutely adore as well. It is the Nest Holiday Candle. Like the Voluspa candle, it is a favorite of mine that I have repurchased multiple times. It has a great burn time-to-price ratio and just screams christmas.
