6 Presents To Ask For Or Give For Christmas

I love any type of gift guides but I feel like the best gift suggestions come from the person's own personal experience with the products. That's why today I am sharing with you 6 of my favorite things that I OWN that would make great gifts. So if you are at a loss of what to give to your family/friends for christmas or are looking to beef up your own christmas gift, keep reading!

1. KJP Simply Pearlfect Necklace: When in doubt, give jewelry (if you have an idea of the person's style). This necklace from KJP's new Pearlfection Collection is timeless and makes the perfect gift for the classy girl in your life. Not a fan of gold? Don't worry, this necklace also comes in silver!

2. Lorac Pro Eyeshadow Palette: Already have every single UD Naked palette ever made? Give all of them a run for their money with this eyeshadow palette. It is by far the best one I've ever used (I guess that's evident by how many colors I've hit pan on). It's safe to say that I use 12 of the 16 colors on a regular basis and all you eyeshadow palette users know that's a really good ratio. My favorite part is it is 50/50 on matte and sparkly shadows! Oh, also, you're getting twice the colors of the Naked palette for $8 cheaper.

3. Plaid Scarf (similar Jcrew one) : Like the KJP Pearlfection necklace, a plaid scarf is a timeless classic. It is a winter staple and can be worn so many different ways. The style of this Jcrew one is rather traditional, but if you are more of a trendy gal, here are some options:

4. Gigi New York Crossbody: Pro tip: personalized gifts are THE best. It shows the gift receiver that you went the little extra step to get this gift for them. Gigi New York is one of my favorite handbag companies because they are known for the beautiful and tasteful monogramming they put (optionally) on all their bags. If you like the idea but don't want to spend a couple hundred dollars, here are some smaller/cheaper Gigi New York items that you can monogram that also make perfect gifts!

5. Beats Solo Headphones: Behind my laptop and phone, this is probably the third most used item I own. If you've been listening to your music through iPhone earbuds, you really haven't unlocked the full happiness potential that music can bring to you. They are also great for working out. You could run for hours and these babies won't move.

If you aren't looking to spend that much money, the Beats earbuds are also a great step up from normal earbuds!

6. Voluspa 'Golden Cypress Sawara' Candle: Ok so I just realized that this candle isn't sold anymore which makes me want to cry because it is quite possibly my favorite candle ever. Thankfully, though, there is another candle out there that smells like christmas trees that I absolutely adore as well. It is the Nest Holiday Candle. Like the Voluspa candle, it is a favorite of mine that I have repurchased multiple times. It has a great burn time-to-price ratio and just screams christmas.

Gift Guide: for the makeup lover

We all have that one friend or family member who eats, sleeps and breaths beauty products. As someone who used to be that girl about 4 years ago, I have professionally curated this gift guide to fulfill the dreams of the beauty lover (without breaking your bank).

6. Sigma Makeup Brush Set (I swear by these brushes, they are the only ones I use!)

Here are some more ideas not pictured in the photo collage!

Sweater: Jcrew | Gingham top: Jcrew Factory | Skirt: Urban Outfitters (similar) | Boots: Public Desire (similar) | Watch: Daniel Wellington (Use the code CLASSYKATEDW to get 15% off your purchase at www.danielwellington.com) | Bracelet: Kate Spade

I'm too obsessed with this outfit and I think the main reason is because it defines my style perfectly. The gingham under a sweater makes it classic and put-together but the untucked look, velvet and over-the knee-boots add casualness and a bit of edge. I'm still obsessing so hard over my over-the-knee boots because I can pair them with so many of my classic outfits to easily add a more chic and trendy twist. Also, they make it so much easier to transition skirts into colder weather because they cover up your legs!

Gift Guide: Home Goods

Shag Pillow: Mina Victory | Dot Pillow: Lulu & Georgia | Tie-Dye Pillow: Urban Outfitters

Notebook Set: Ban.do | Tape: Ban.do | Thermos: Ban.do

Zebra Dish: Jonathan Adler

Candle: Diptyque

Throw Blanket: Nordstrom

Gold Lip Print Mug: Reiko Kaneko

Stripe Mug: Lulu & Georgia

"You're Cute" Tray: Lulu & Georgia

I have a major weakness for cute decor and trinkets so I would be more than thrilled to receive any item here. Home goods make especially great gifts because you don't have to worry about choosing the right size like you do with clothes and shoes! Also, you can give a bunch of smaller home goods as gifts and it's fun for the person on the other end because they have the excitement of getting multiple gifts at once! Here are also some bonus gift ideas that weren't included in the photo collage:

Anthropologie Vase

Anthropologie Jewelry Stand

West Elm Rug

Lori Greiner Spinning Makeup Organizer

Sigma Essentials Makeup Brush Set

Bluetooth Speaker String Lights

Canon 55mm 1.4 lens (for all you Canon users)

I plan on making a bunch of these gift guides so leave a comment saying what theme you would want to see in the coming month!

Obsessing over over-the-knee boots

Vest: Jcrew | Sweater: Forever 21 | Jeans: Nordstrom (similar) | Boots: Public Desire (similar) Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

I ordered these Public Desire boots from Asos as soon as I found out about them this summer and had been impatiently awaiting the colder weather for months just so I could wear them! I was a bit skeptical at first because I thought they were too good to be true - they were only $65! But once I received them and tried them on, they were good quality (for being fake suede), fit nicely around my calf, knee and thigh (aka they weren't slouchy) and they were the perfect height. AND best of all, they are very comfortable to walk around it. I walk around in these for hours and my feet don't hurt. If you don't have a pair of over the knee boots already, I highly suggest getting some. They are so easy to just throw on and they instantly make me feel more chic and put together. They're also great because you can make them work for basically any style. The ones that I have are sold out in basically every size as of now, but I recommend keeping an eye on them to see if they come back into stock!
