When It's Spring But It's Still Cold Out

Pullover: c/o Charles River Apparel | Shirt: Jcrew Factory | Jeans: Jcrew | Booties: Madewell | Sunglasses: Ray-ban | Earrings: Target | Lipstick: "Rebel" by MAC

Guys I seriously have been wearing this pullover from Charles River Apparel almost everyday for the past week. There are so many days where I just roll out of bed for class and want to throw on leggings, sneakers and a cozy sweater and this pullover has really been doing the trick. I always wanted one of the Patagonia pullovers but now that I have this one from CRA, I honestly think it is softer and cozier than the Patagonia ones! Although this pullover is great for wearing with sneakers/duck boots, leggings and a t-shirt, here, I chose to dress it up a bit with a navy and white gingham button down, dark wash jeans and ankle booties. This look is very casual and comfy but still looks clean and put together.

Best Budget-Friendly Pieces For Spring

It is currently 41 degrees and raining in New York City right now so I made this post to keep my thoughts positive for the spring weather that is hopefully coming in the near future. That combined with the fact that I've been extremely frugal lately inspired me to round up some of my favorite spring pieces out right now that aren't to hard on the wallet. I hope that this is helpful and I hope that everyone enjoys their spring break!

I've been a huge fan of Daniel Wellington ever since I discovered the brand about two years ago. The classic and simple designs of their watches make them a staple accessory that could pair well with just about any outfit you could imagine. I've had my DW watch with the rose gold metal and brown leather band (which is probably my most worn accessory) for a while now. Recently, though, I acquired this new one with silver metal, roman numerals on the face and electric blue hands. So now I have DW watch that is classic and one that is more funky and unique. For this post, I paired my new watch with this gem of a cardigan purchased Freshman year of high school that I excavated from the back of my closet recently. I layered a simple chambray shirt under the cardigan and paired that with black jeans and these recently purchased lace up flats that I'm beyond obsessed with. Cold Days in Central Park

Top: Madewell (on sale!) | Cardigan: Express | Leggings: Ralph Lauren | Booties: Madewell | Bag: Rebecca | Sunglasses: Ray-ban | Beanie: Urban Outfitters

I think this look just epitomizes my fall/winter style so I thought I would share it with y'all! I live for earth tones, suede patches, ankle booties and pom pom booties so I felt very good in this outfit. I shot this look in Central Park when I was with my Friends, Emma and Steph, taking pictures of them for their social media. We had a great time but we really had to suffer through the cold. We ran to Starbucks to find warmth and coffee the second we were done taking photos. Check out items similar to the ones I'm wearing down below!
