Ruffles in Florence
Monday, February 13, 2017
My roommates and I decided to take a short trip to Florence this weekend and while we were there for only a short time, we hit up some of the most amazing spots! First on the Agenda was the Gucci Museum (I mean, as fashion students, how could we resist? ;)). We treated ourselves to a coffee and croissant at the elegant Cafe Gilli before climbing up a steep hill to Piazalle Michelangelo where we witnessed the most breathtaking, panoramic view of Florence. While my outfit may have been a bit to fancy for tourist activities, I was still super comfortable in this sweater from SheIn! I had my eye on the very pricey Endless Rose ruffle sleeved sweater for a while, but immediately ditched it when I found this dupe (which is over 3 times cheaper!).
Exploring Rome

Sweater: c/o StyleWe | Blouse: Ann Taylor | Jeans: Articles of Society | Shoes: Hinge | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff
Rome has given me a new passion for architecture photography! It seriously has the most charming an elegant buildings I've ever seen (but I guess that's not saying much considering I've only ever seen gross American architecture before this). Today, my friends and I walked all over the tourist areas of Rome to see the Trevi Fountain (we channelled our inner Lizzie McGuire and threw coins into the water after making a wish) and the Pantheon. We stopped at the cutest little gelato place in between and I kid you not, the hazelnut and pistachio gelato I got was one of the best things I've ever tasted! Ice cream doesn't even compare to gelato. I recently received this sweater from StyleWe and I'm obsessed to say the least. It's super unique because of the sage green color and bell sleeves. I was a bit concerned because it is one size fits all (and asian companies are known for having clothes that run insanely small) but it fits perfectly on a size 4-6 gal like myself!
