I think this is one of my favorite outfits I've worn in a while! I love incorporating lots of textures and patterns into an outfit and I think this look does just that. I recently received these adorable striped, drawstring shorts from Mint Julep Boutique and I'm in love with them! I never really see navy mixed with blush pink and mauve so I was instantly drawn to the unique and subdued color combo. In addition, the fit and silhouette of the shorts is so flattering –I love that they aren't too short and never ride up (a problem that I have with most shorts). I think they pair perfect with any solid colored top in cream/white or a color that is featured in the shorts, like blush, light blue or navy. I topped this outfit off with simple accessories like my classic Daniel Wellington watch and this incredible sand dollar pendant gold necklace I recently received from Sea Dipped. I am always looking for more everyday, classic necklaces and I've been wearing this one probably 50% of the time I leave my apartment lately.
