4 Fall Transition Pieces

1. Overall Dress

So this isn't actually a piece I have in my wardrobe yet but it's something that I want so badly! It is such an investment piece because you could wear it with a t-shirt or with a long sleeve button down or blouse!

2. Velvet Skirts/Tank Tops

Velvet pieces are undeniably geared for the fall but I've been loving wearing my maroon velvet mini skirt and amethyst velvet tank top during this warmer weather too! Right now, I'm wearing the tank by itself paired with distressed jeans and loafer slides and I wore the skirt with a flowy white blouse for the first day of classes. As it gets cooler, I will throw on a leather jacket over the tank and pair the skirt with tights and a cozy knit sweater. 

3. Lightweight Sweaters

Ok, this one is a little obvious and something that most bloggers mention when discussing transition pieces. I just wanted to bring it up so I could link y'all some good options! I think you can never have too many lightweight sweaters as they are so basic and can be layered under thick cardigans and jackets! 

4. Denim Mini Skirt

I wore my denim skirt alllllll summer long (in way too many blog posts) and it's easily one of the most versatile pieces in my wardrobe. I know I will continue to get a lot of wear out of it into the fall and winter since I can pair it with over-the-knee boots and tights with ankle booties! The first skirt linked below is the one I have, it's affordable and I could not recommend it more!
